Folk FestReturning in 2027

A full day, noon into the evening

A gathering of music, makers, food, creativity and play, celebrating the people and changing season of North Idaho.

The story

Folk means the people.

The hands that make. The people who grow. Music passed around, stories shared, kids running through the grass and neighbors gathered around the fire.

come as you are, bring a blanket, stay awhile

Come spend an autumn day celebrating music, art, food, fall harvest, nature and play across the beautiful Boulder Creek campus.

The festival begins at noon and unfolds across the property, bringing together live music, a curated market of artists and makers, food and drink, hands-on experiences, children's activities, and plenty of room to gather, create and play. Rooted in the spirit of folk tradition and the changing season, expect a day rich with creativity, character and moments of whimsy woven throughout.

Dressing for the occasion is encouraged but not mandatory. Think folk tales, harvest, handmade and wonderfully peculiar. Come as you are or have some fun with it.

As the sun goes down, the property comes alive with lights, music under the stars, bonfires, and a little unexpected magic throughout the evening.

Come for a few hours or make a day of it. Families, friends, and all ages are welcome. Limited overnight stays at Boulder Creek will be available separately for those who want to make a night of it.

Calling all makers

Booths are open.

Ceramics, textiles, leatherwork, jewelry, illustration, vintage goods, florals, folk art, handcrafted wares, food and beyond: thoughtful, artful, handmade, maybe even a little wonderfully peculiar. If you make it yourself, there is a booth with your name on it.

Booths run through a short application, for 2027 and for the smaller gatherings along the way. Applying doesn't guarantee a spot. We curate the market for fit, and we follow up with everyone either way.
